According to studies made in Africa, it has been found that circumcision may reduce (to a great extent) the risk of HIV contamination in men engaging in heterosexual intercourse…This means it can be an effective measure to limit the rapid spreading of the virus in Africa..in the long run it will reduce the number of persons infected n can also at the same time lead to fewer infections in women..only for heterosexual mode of transmission though!
The benefits of circumcision wer already discovered some thousands of yrs before..Circumcision for reducing infections were already discovered in Ancient Egypt! workers and soldiers were often circumcised to reduce infections and it was observed that those never crept up again..And nw researchers have found a link btw Circumcision n HIV virus…
Men should not stop using condoms when circumcised nor take other risks also. This is not the final n only solution to AIDS but still “scientists say the reduction of infection is so substantial that the findings cannot be ignored”. If this is a way to save millions of lives.. why not?
